A few months ago I lost 2 of my chickens to a racoon because my pen was not built right it was temperary until I could get my coop built that is why it is important to always have a coop that is well built before you buy chickens because you have to be prepared.

Today I went and bought a full grown White rock hen.  She lays brown eggs and hopefully tomorrow I get an egg.
